Anniversary Sabbath - 2 October 2010
Sabbath 2 October was a sunny day in Luton, all the district's churches came together at Luton's St Mary's Parish Church to celebrate 50 years worshiping at 1 North Street. Dignitaries included ministers who served as pastors over the years and Luton's Deputy Mayor, Cllr Mohammed Farooq. Pastor Cecil Perry (former British Union Conference President) delivered a timely and stirring message encouraging present members and friends of Luton Central to build on the achievements of those who were inspired in those early days.
Our Anniversary Sabbath was enjoyed by all who attended and to give you an taste of the proceedings the following memories of the day have been collected.
